Hello everyone and welcome to Mechic! I am so excited to announce the launch of my blog and hope that you all will enjoy being here. The topic that I chose for Mechic is Fashion. I selected fashion as a topic because it’s something that I am passionate about and educated in.
Fashion plays a huge role in my life and has shaped my outlook on consumers, money and branding. I want to share the difference between fashion and personal style, fashion trends, and how being fashionably sustainable is great for our earth.
I plan to collect original materials by taking pictures, audio recordings and video images of what I am surrounded by (beaches, mountains, etc) things that inspire me and clothing items. I also plan on using websites such as Pinterest to get my creative juices flowing.
For the Graphic design project, I plan to incorporate all things fashion of course! There will be pictures of different items such as purses, sunglasses, shoes, inspiration photos and a picture of myself modeling those items in which I’ve put together. With the digital video project, I plan on going back to Los Angeles, California to visit a clothing factory and show you all what it looks like inside of one. It’s very interesting to see how your clothes are being made behind the scenes.
